Job Opportunity: Knitwear Packer
Eribe Knitwear Manufacturing, Tweedbank, require a temporary bag packer to cover absence during our busiest time. There is potential for progression into other areas of production and become permanent for the right candidate.
Experience would be desirable; however, training can be provided to the right candidate.
Idea candidate will have a good eye for detail, strong colour vision & be able to work to deadlines, checking, folding and bagging be flexible to help in other areas as required.
The role involves the final inspection & Quality Control of garments, final press then folding, packing & sticky-labelling of products. High standards of work are required to meet our customer expectations.
Hours: Full time 37.5hrs week, though full and part time hours of work can be discussed Possible to accommodate different finishing and start times within reason.
Salary: Dependent on experience, quality & speed
Location base: Tweedbank
Ideal candidate should work quickly and neatly and enjoy the challenge of increasing their speed.
As a small factory the ideal applicant would be happy to work in other areas of the production process as required.
